There is a DAB radio for every budget, ranging from simple portable radios to expensive Hi-Fi systems. As digital radio broadcasting will be expanded using the latest DAB⁺ technology in the future, listeners should buy only DAB+-enabled equipment. These radios are backwards compatible and can also receive all existing DAB stations.

A combined DAB+/FM radio is recommended, as it can receive all DAB, DAB+ and FM signals.
